A TheraPump's unique design uses the pool water to cool the motor while at the same time the heat from the motor warms your therapy pool's water. This amazing heat recapturing feature costs no more to operate than conventional pump motors, yet helps to maintain your therapy pool's temperature. And unlike conventional pump motors, the TheraPump is an all-enclosed pump motor that requires virtually no maintenance. There are no visible moving parts that can break or deteriorate over time. |

Because conventional pump motors were designed for large inground swimming pools, the sound they made really did not matter - as most people had them hidden behind the house. | The all-enclosed composite design of the TheraPump is one of the safest designs possible. Its polymer construction provides triple electrical insulation. In fact, the pump could run even if it were totally immersed in water.
It also contains a brain. The old-fashion traditional pump motors will run whether there is water flowing or not. But the all-new TheraPump has an internal water sensor that automatically shuts itself off if no water is present. Though the conventional pump offers this as an add-on expense with the TheraPump it comes standard.
