More than Just Warm and Soothing
Though it is true that justb resting in the body of warm water is very soothing and therapeutic, most of our therapy pool customers have very active daily routines in their therapy pools. Unlike conventional spas - where you just sit and left the jets do all the work, therapy pool users are doing a wide variety of stretching, pulling, lifting, bending and other exercise routines daily within the body of warm water. This kind of warm water aquatic exercise is typically what most doctors want when they prescribed a therapy pool.

And we have developed a way to expand the number and type of exercises you can do within our therapy pool.

Adding the Grommet Set Expands Your Exercise Capacities
Positioned at three different levels of the pool and at each corner, the Grommet Set provides twelve (12) sturdy grommets to connect to. Each grommet can withstand up to 300 pounds of pull force, can connect to a wide variety of aquatic exercise accessories such as pulleys and cords to expand your exercise routine. The Lowest Level provides the greatest angle and can be used to lean against aquatic lifts
Some Examples of Aquatic Exercises Using Grommets
The Lowest Level provides the greatest angle and can be used to lean against in forward aquatic lifts, as well as backward aqautic lifts. Ideal for building upper body strength.

The Middle Level provides a waist high connection for resistance stretching of both arms and legs. By facing away from the grommet, you place one leg forward and lean towards the front leg. It also can be used in aquatic lifting at a lesser angle than the lower level.

The Highest Level provides both a reverse angle and can be used with the SwimMill for swimming, stretching and resistance leaning as well. In using the higher grommet for reverse angle, you can use the body weight to try and bend your knees, then use the connection to pull you back up. This type of aquatic-based motion of up and down creates great circulation for the muscles, reduces stress on the bones and nerves and is excellent musle therapy.

Disclaimer: It is always best to consult your therapist or doctor prior to attempting any strenuous exercise, but you will quickly discover the benefits the Grommet Set provides and in fact, will begin to create and develop new exercises specitif to your needs.
